First Holy Communion Photography By Derry Photographer Shea Deighan
First Holy Communion is a special occasion in a young persons life. It deserves to be respected and remembered with quality images. Have a look at my First Holy Communion portfolio to see some of my images from 2014.
As a photographer with a great portrait studio, this is a time of the year that I really love. I love to see the children coming in all dressed up and ready for their photo shoot. Maybe it’s because I’m a wedding photographer.
A typical First Holy Communion photo session entails of:
- Various portraits of the communion child.
- Various portraits of the child with their immediate family.
- Various portraits of the child with their siblings.
- The shoot usually lasts up to one hour.
- I usually use 2 or 3 different backdrops to give variety when choosing your favourite images.
- Around thirty amazing images are made available at your viewing presentation for ordering.
Fun Portrait Shoot
My First Holy Communion portrait sessions are fun and give you amazing beautiful memories which will last a lifetime.
Subject to availability, my studio will welcome you with open arms on the day of your child’s First Holy Communion. For days that are completely booked out, I recommend doing the shoot prior to the actual First Holy Communion day. This ensures that I am available to photograph your child and it frees up a part of your day which gives you more time for friends and family on the actual day.
Having the portrait shoot prior to the actual First Holy Communion day sounds odd but it really is a great way of doing it. I prefer whichever you choose.
A Story From 2014
A new customer came to my studio with her two gorgeous daughters and their grandmother around two weeks prior to the actual day for the portrait shoot. During the shoot, the mum commented on how relaxed everyone was and how fun I had made the shoot for everyone. After seeing the images on my big screen, the mum could not express enough how happy she was with the images and the detail which was present in every image. She ordered her products and went home very happy. By the time the actual First Holy Communion day arrived, her finished products were already hanging proudly on her walls.
I’ll always remember this customer because as she was leaving, she asked: Did you do this order quickly just for me or do you do it this well for everyone? I laughed and said: I try to do my best for everyone.
